renown and expertise of the Duval & Mauler studio
THE PARTNERS
For 150 years, the Compagnon artisans of the Duval & Mauler studio have been putting their expertise into restoring the style and splendour of exceptional places. Particularly concerned with fine workmanship, they intervene in the cultural sector(Musée d’Orsay, Centre Pompidou, the Louvre, Rodin Museum, etc.), national heritage (Conseil d’Etat, Palais d’Iena, etc.) and the private sector.
Equipped with unique expertise that extends from contemporary style (matte lacquer, structured materials, solid colour) to the most classic style (stretch lacquer, fake stone, faux marble, faux wood, trompe l’œil), every year they take on several apprentices to teach them the traditional methods and techniques of painting, décor creation and restoration. They themselves regularly attend training courses on safety or intervening on coatings containing lead.
Both for ecological reasons and to ensure their punctuality, they travel to each site by public transport.

LE BUREAU D'ÉTUDES
Structuré autour des chargés d’affaires, dont certains étaient initialement compagnons, le bureau d’études de Duval et Mauler réalise des études pour les chantiers de grande ampleur et prépare leur organisation en collaboration étroite avec la Direction des Travaux. Il conseille également la clientèle dans le choix des couleurs et l’assemblage des différentes matières (peinture, papiers-peint, panoramique, enduits décoratif, sols etc.). Grâce à sa taille, le bureau d’études de Duval et Mauler se déplace sous 48 heures pour réaliser une visite de chantier en vue d’établir un devis.
SUPERVISION
In order to guarantee an outstanding quality of execution and complete compliance with the deadlines, Duval & Mauler have set up a rigorous organisational work plan based, among other things, on significant supervision of the teams.
Under the responsibility of the Department of Public Works (composed of a director and construction managers), the works carried out by our studio are orchestrated by a team leader and a site supervisor who are present 100% of the time to supervise the partners and be in direct contact with customers and architects. Some work sites are directly monitored by the business managers in order to offer only one contact person to the customer.
Particularly concerned with punctuality and the quality of the work, the members of the management team visit each site at least twice a week. They are backed by commercial and administrative support teams who are also available to our customers for any queries regarding estimates and invoices.
